Hoseshop has a range of Drinking water hoses (also known as ‘Potable Hose’) that are WRAS Approved.
WRAS approval confirms that the hose meets UK Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999 and Scottish Water Byelaws.
It ensures that the hose:
Does not contaminate the drinking water supply (no leaching of harmful substances).
Prevents backflow or contamination of the mains.
Is made of materials safe for potable (drinking) water use.
Has been independently tested and approved by a WRAS-recognized laboratory.
